Not many people know this about me, but one of my hobbies is dolls. Specifically ball jointed dolls, or BJDs for short. I’ve only been doing it for about a year now, but I’ve been enjoying it. I have one medium-sized doll called a YoSD, two Azone dolls, and several small dolls. The small ones I’ve put together out of the Nendoroid (anime figure) part and the big ones were ordered off of eBay and Etsy. I like to model them after the original character I’ve created for the stories I write in my spare time. The BJD community is so welcoming and I love meeting other involved in the hobby, there are even conventions for it. That’s one of the things I like about hobbies in general, it opens up a whole new way of meeting potential friends by chatting online or attending in-person conventions or meet-ups.
